Area and Perimeter Differentiated Learning Center
"This is a differentiated learning center used for area and perimeter. This learning center contains 2-4 grade activities that help students find the area and perimeter of four sided figures. It inlcudes open ended activities for each learning type. I have used the center in my classroom and the students love it. It has really helped them gain a deep understanding of the differences between area and perimeter, how to find each, and how to use formulas to find the answer. Activities included in this center are tic-tac-toe boards, bloom's balls, cubing, inquiry based learning activities, anchor activities, think dots, and menu planners. There is such a wide variety of activities for each student to enjoy. This can be used as a separate center, but if not, the activities presented in this unit are sure to help your students have a deep understanding of area and perimeter, while having fun at the same time!
